We SHINMED care about surgeons’ needs and feedback. Therefore we developed our bipolar cable with different types of specifications for surgeons to choose from. We first developed and manufactured the plugs to fit the European and the US market, and both with protection (booted) on the instrument end. For the US type, we even developed an angled version to meet different instruments’ designs.
And in 2022, we developed our female plug with a non-booted version. Compare to booted plugs, non-booted one is easier to plug in/out. Also, it can reduce the chance of deformation during transportation.
